Victor J. Ferlise, M.D.
Dr. Ferlise completed his general and urologic surgery training
at
the University of Pennsylvania. He then completed a fellowship
in Robotics, Laparoscopy and Minimally Invasive Surgery also at
the University of Pennsylvania.
As a medical student, resident and
fellow, Dr Ferlise co-authored
many articles and book chapters on a variety of topics including
Urologic Cancer, Robotic Surgery, Laparoscopic Surgery and
Incontinence. He attended medical school at Robert Wood
Johnson where his scholastic achievements earned him a spot in
the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society, the most prestigious of
medical honor societies.
Dr. Ferlise is currently on staff at Community
Medical Center and
is one of a select few fellowship-trained robotic surgeons in
the
United States. He specializes in minimally invasive treatments
for Prostate, Kidney and Adrenal
Cancer and is also experienced in a
variety of other state-of-the-art therapies for BPH, Impotence
and
Incontinence.
Dr. Victor Ferlise is the Director of Robotics and
Minimally
Invasive Urology for the Urologic Health Center and is the
only urologist performing Robotics in
Ocean County. He has
participated in or personally performed over 500 Robotic and Laparoscopic surgeries in the
last 2 years with outstanding results.
Prior to coming to Ocean County he was on staff at the University
of Pennsylvania where he mastered the use of the robot under
the
direction of David Lee, one of the world’s experts.
